garden, aged 10. His songwriting explores current themes; often humorously, sometimes satirically, always musically.
Martin lives 'two-thirds off-grid' in a former shepherds' bothy in a remote part of rural Scotland.

Eric's powerful thought provoking lyrics on the album deserves a wider audience. His voice on To the Rock sends shivers down my spine every time I hear it. And the way he gives the Thatcherite years a kicking on Ghosts is superb. That said, Miami is also very emotive and powerful. The album is just fabulous.
